Yoga is so much more than a flexible person making shapes. Yoga means to unite, join or yoke. It is a practice that marries the focus of the mind, the body & breath. That’s true union.

Somewhere along the line, the purpose of yoga got very distorted. The illusion that a certain stereotype of a person is all that it is suitable for got popularised.


Sarah’s approach to teaching connects the roots & origin of yoga to a realistic movement practice. Her teaching goes deeper than just getting into postures or moving quickly through sequences. Every session we connect with our breath, our purpose for being on the mat & move from there.

The teaching is a fusion of somatic movement and Yoga through a trauma informed lens which means you are empowered to move in your own body, not just following strict instruction and allowing choice and freedom in your movement so that it feels good.

There is a variety of styles of yoga classes available ranging from Hatha flow to restorative.

One to one & private sessions offer a chance to be supported in a way that suits your body’s individual needs.

We will look at the intention for your Yoga practice, your experience & preferences to design a session that allows strength in your body & stillness for your mind.

Sarah offers private sessions in Thanet, London & Online starting at £35 for 60 mins.

 

If you’ve been curious to try yoga but haven’t been able to attend a class whether it be because;

  • you have an injury or condition that is better suited outside a class environment

  • you are completely new to yoga & wish to explore how to practice in a way that suits your needs

  • you are unable to make it to the scheduled classes

  • you prefer to exercise outside of a group situation

  • You wish to practice in a location of your choice such as in nature

A private session at a time & location to suit you is ideal.

We can do this from the comfort of your home or one of the spaces I hire in a location convenient for you.

This can also work for groups of friends or family looking to practice together.

We can do the sessions in person or online. We can work towards a specific goal or tailor the session to your needs on the day.
